In celebration of Creative Arts Therapies week, March 6-13, 2005,
the Lehigh Valley Creative Arts Therapists Network (LVCATN) will
offer a half-day conference exploring the impact of the arts on
the therapeutic process. During this conference, local creative
arts therapists, trained to use their art form to enhance education,
wellness, and healing, will offer workshops on art, dance/movement,
and music therapies. There will also be networking opportunities
for those interested in specific arts modalities.
Who should attend: psychologists, social workers, counselors, therapists,
social service administrators, activity directors, nurses/health
professionals, school guidance counselors, creative arts therapists,
artists, alternative healing practitioners, and students interested
in the creative arts therapies.

Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre
in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives
and watch them enacted on the spot. Whether in theatres, workshops,
educational or clinical settings, Playback Theatre draws people
closer as they see their common humanity.
